Danny Bentley began playing drums at the age of 13, inspired by his first musical influences; Led Zeppelin, Nirvana and Fugazi. After high school he studied percussion performance and musical theory at Montgomery College in Rockville/Takoma Park adding bass and piano to his musician’s tool box. A performer and touring musician for over fifteen years, Danny has opened shows for such acts such as The Dismemberment Plan, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, DeathFix and Ty Segall. He has also recorded with James Robbins of Jawbox. Danny has played and toured with many local bands including Owls and Crows, Timberwolf Division and most recently Sunwolf. When not playing music or attending shows, Danny enjoys spending time hiking in the Appalachian Mountains or watching Nationals baseball.
