Best Rock Movies, Documentaries, Concert Films & Musicals

Welcome to our rock movies directory. For each movie below you can click on the picture or title to watch the official movie trailer, see the full movie poster and read the plot summary. We've also included the movie release date, length, MPAA rating and Rotten Tomatoes score.

We're building a comprehensive list of rock & roll themed films in four categories:

  • Rock Movies - Your basic fictionalized good-time popcorn type movie.
  • Documentaries - Documentary films focused on a band or genre of rock.
  • Concert Films - While these often include more than just a concert, our concert film category focuses on documentaries of specific performance events.
  • Musicals & Operas - Like the name says, these are musicals and operas with rock music.
